Why must everything be so complicated?
Or at least feel that way to me
Things used to be so simple between us
But now its like we’re enemies.
It seems we have to battle
But whose side are you fighting?
In the beginning we were together
But our friendship was slowly dying
It’s nearly impossible to prevail alone
And I see now where I stand
In the middle of the battlefield
With no weapons in my hand
This is not how it’s to happen
Have you no mercy left to lend?
I am one among your hundreds
This is undoubtedly, the end
You’ve found another army
And other soldiers to watch your back
I have no other choice now
But to surrender your brutal attack
