Contest Entry: I Have Dreamt About You, Miss!

Poetry By: absolutelyalice

This is a contest entry for "Another Unique Contest- Getting Even" by Angelynn! The poem was based on the picture at the end! Enjoy! :)
Also, I had to break up the poem by using horizontal lines, since Booksie is acting up, haha! If I figure out what's wrong, I'll fix it, and remove those lines.

I have dreamt about this!

Yes, I have dreamt about you, Miss!

On a column you stood,

crafted of marble, not of wood!

Pretty pastel clouds,

all surrounded you,

powder pink, peach,

lilac and blue!

The sun you faced,

clothes were silken,

not laced!

You were waiting for the

asking if you'd ever again dance

like a dancer!

Ebony hair blowing,

your young heart slowing.

In limbo you float,

then I can hear you

gracefully quote,

the words your loved ones said,

when they found you in your room,

already dead!

Before you leave to another realm,

I shall politely ask,

for something as simple as

a kiss.

I hope this is okay with you, Miss!

Potentially, it could go both ways!

The column will sway,

if you're scared of change,

and choose to stay!

Now, if you bravely choose to leave,

I bet someone'll have a trick up

their sleeve?

you shall find your way, Miss!

You ask:

"Oh, how, how do you know this?"

I can only erratically guess,

As what I am dealing with,

is not a logic game of chess!
