I lie on my stomach,
the wet snow melting
as it
reaches my hair,
the grey sky
making me frown.
I watch the ideas floating
on top of the deep, black lake,
and I want them - all of them.
They tease me,
telling me to just
grab them.
I reach out,
my fingertips caressing the icy water,
but then
they swim away
leaving a chorus of teasing cackle
ringing in my ears.
