This poem is about me giving young writers and non-writers advice about becoming a good writer. And maybe even experienced writers as well. I hope this answers any questions you may have. If it doesn't or if it kind of does but your not fully getting my advice... Please do as I request you to do at the end of the poem. To those who understands what I'm saying fully and completely, I'm glad I can assist you. I hope this at least does something for everyone who reads. Good luck to you all!!!

They say "Acie, do you have any advice for writing a poem?"
I say let me figure you out and I don't really even know them
People ask me for advice about poetry all the time
I have people tell me that they want their poems to be good as mine
Now, no I'm not bragging.. Just telling you some facts
People have only shelves of advice, well I have racks
Racks are bigger than shelves, holds more space
This is my gourmet dinner of advice, come get a taste
Writing poetry is not what everyone says about it
Those are the ones who doesn't understand, they doubt it
So they write a novel, or short story, or a essay or two
Well did you know a poem can be written in all ofthatformat too?
I can write a novel that only consist of poetry
I can actually write about every thing you throw at me
I can write about funny, love, food, materials, sexuality, etc, and stories untold
For example, go to my profile and you will see I wrote a poem about a cold
That's right! I wrote about my best friend getting a cold
And for her sickly body, in my arms, I will hold
For me, poetry is my passion
I can write it newly or in a old orderly fashion
What I write about? I write about what I set my mind to
I believe I can write to anything that my mind tells me to
People say write what's on your heart, sometimes that's irrelevant
I can look at a woman buying groceries at a store and then write about it
That case has nothing to do with your heart
The heart is a great place tobegin but then again never from the start
Poetry, people find it confusing
They say it has no meaning and does not amuse me
Sure that maybe true, but you have to have an open mind
And when you read a poem then the meaning you will find
How to write poetry? That's up to you
You have to find what your about and see what you can do
What your capable of and what you can write about
Also to know you believe in yourself and in your writing to never doubt
Poems don't always have to make sense either
I wrote a comedy poem for my English teacher andit pleased her
Advice that I have for you is to help you become a better writer, not for your readers
Somereaders out thereare your cheaters
They cheat you by telling you what you need to fix if it isn't well bright shine
Instead of telling you to keep trying and you will get better next time
Experience writers shouldn't help in a experienced way
Because then they only have experienced advice to say
This is only half of the help I got and I feel this is nice
You can probably tell I'm experienced because I wrote a poem about advice
So if you feel this helped you a little and was even a little fun
Comment on this poem saying" Acie, this helped but I want more advice" and I will write another one :)
