Thank you for all you have given to me
Always told me "things will be clearer" and now I see
That I set dreams so I can complete 'em
Knowledge my fears so later in life I can beat 'em
Grown in success but shrunken in "fail"
I shall never let "fail" pass my lips with prevail
I'm going for silver or maybe even the gold
I'm going for the light.... No, i'm going for my own
For my own, for my own is what I am told
So at the end of the victory, the trophy I will hold
As far as success goes, I'll do what I have to do
And Carrielee, you've inspired me to write this so I'll win just for you
