If my soul were a room

And you were to walk in

You would

Cringe and recoil

Scream and cry

Regret ever entering

You would

Feel your heart shattering

Your lungs burning

And every inch of your body convulsing with pain

You would

Finally

Know how I always feel

You would

Fall to your knees

And finally it would finally dawn on you

That even though my door is

Covered in rainbows

And smiling faces

The degradation of my soul

Is too far gone

And you would

Finally see the truth

There is no hope for me

And there never was any to begin with….
