I'm lost in Limbo, trapped in here
No exit sign or safety door
Captivated by the blinding light
But with no path, I've lost my sight.
Finding shelter in the cold Winter rain
Blocking the sorrow, numbing the pain
Closing my eyes to seek the dark
But my muse has made her mark
She pulls me back and sighs my name
I fear, I wonder, what's the game?
Yet in her eyes I see the same
The hidden, dimming, numbing pain.
But upon her face is a fragile smile
A tiny curve, I stare a while
Yet in my day dream her hand meets mine
Within the second we're intertwined
And in my soul I know its fate
Even perhaps if it's quietly late.
She leans to me and whispers into my ear;
"All my life I've searched for you,
a love so meaningful, so perfect, so true
you can't deny the passion here
so kiss me now and never fear"
With that my lips were against hers
I close my eyes, and forget the words
A single moment we're lost in time
So deep and pure, I know she's mine.
