MY WOMAN
My precious woman is one of a kind
I think of her always, she floats on my mind
Sweet memories together we shared through the ages
She knows all that lies within our back pages
Great mountains we climbed and through life's swamps we trudged
By the challenges we conquered our lives will be judged
we struggled we fell then lifted each other
She came through the hard times to become a great Mother
Of children so beautiful so perfect they are like no other
Our daughter when young exclaimed "Oh no I'm my Mother"
Now with her own child a mother she became
And hopes as a mother she can do much the same
to be the best mother for her man and boy
And build a great family filled with love and joy
Our son has grown to become a wonderful man
He's adopted the positive of "Yes I Can"
In his life's toolbox he's placed all his tools
To deal with the problems, challenges, and fools
We have no doubt what a great Dad he'll make
to his future family, love's path he will take
Yes it;s been a great ride that I'd never trade
Our life together the adventures we've made
We share so much life we could write a great book
Then make a great movie of all the paths that we took
Nothing we've planned and worked together has failed
We never gave up even when often times we trailed
My woman stood by me she pushed and she shoved
Which proves to me now I'm the one that she loved.
