You opened up my heart
like petals on a rose
Because of you the sun broke through
where shadows were before.
I askthe worldso tenderly
for you to be here spiritually.
If you could seep into my dreams
A piece of you then I could take
Throughout the day wherever I go
To help whenever my heart should ache.
