Contingencies
Fine lines of seclusion
had guarded me
though not protected.
---
For in the world beyond
there were tinglings
of residual effects
in time left undone.
---
Wrapped around me now
are fragmented
Silhouettes lingering
with Contingencies.
Along the bylines
of my most frequented emotion.
---
Masking thier appearance
they masquerde
in a dance that was held
in my honor.
---
But
I would not dance
Until
--
Good intentions escape
and for a while
I allow it all to happen;
The intrusion of past emotions
Come alive again
And if only for a while
the dance goes on.
