If you fade

I would still feel the essence

That you are.

If you fade,

I will still feel the emotion

of your heart

And the letting go

of your will.

But I promise you still;

If you fade,

I will bring you back

Not to this that was

And wrought disruption to your will

But to the essence that you are

The truth that time can-not explain

And when we wane from light to dark

And it is love to which we hark

All be it the 'Divine' presence

or; the golden light of yore

It is your essence

That my light

chooses to explore.
