Adorned by the sky
through the light of the moon
I swoon
effortlessly drawn to the masculine design.
*
I am woman-hood, love,
and adoration
casting pearls into the tides.
I toss and turn awaiting their return
but alas they are swept away...
***
Did I ever tell you that once upon a time
I whispered to the earth
and it chided back in rhyme?
*
Was it the way I cast my pearls
that the earth was so distraught?
Was it the endeavor to speak the language
of yinmeets yang?
*
henceforth, the female calls the male
and for the unsung beauty of yin meets yang
all tales are told...
