Rainbow World

If I say that everything is perfect/The world has no secrets or pain--I'd be playing a very cruel trick/On the people who need the gain--People have said it but it was short-lived/All of us know it, yes, even you--The message that we have been trying to give/Is this rainbow world has become black and blue--What sort of 'paradise' gives us the birth/Of war and the death of innocent men--This deep-set belief will just gain girth/Until we cause our own haunting end--Abusive people are always roaming/Thanks to the ones before their life--Their children become the people moaning/Because they have to pay the price--I've heard it said a thousand times/But only now do I see the truth--This rainbow world of beauty and prime/Has slowly but surely rotted black and blue.
