Shrunken Head

The shrunken head

Hanging from my rear view mirror

Is only one of my many victims

Deep love I felt for this one

But he wouldn't accept me

He said he was married

He said I wasn't his type

My heart couldn't let him go

My head said to turn and walk away

But my heart took control

If I couldn't have him

Then no one could

So I took his life

I took his head

A trophy it became

Its eyes were sewed shut

As to not see where we were going

Its mouth sewed shut

As to not whimper or whisper
