For My Celest

Please wipe these visions from my eyes

For these visions I do despise

They have no warmth of a living soul

These visions are taking their horrid toll

My longing and aching can not be quenched

Alone I sit in darkness drenched

Fate saw right my light to extinguish

So now my company is my anguish

I want you back and though I see you still

You are but a shadow brought on by my will

To myself I am just lying

Followed by my fits of crying

I can’t give in I can’t unwind

The last time almost took my mind

I’d like to see you in heaven at rest

Not in the shadows for my request

I loved you always I love you still

I’ll love you forever I always will

I must now find a way to let go

And hope I was able my love to show
