teething only teething

Learning
Teething only teething
teeth are up against the glass
And I won't make my reflection a symbol.
Well extend beyond the self and find the self
I toy with war, murmur 'Africa'
Trees like fertile not just fertile ladies
raise themselves saintly.
I still see only green flame.
Jealous fucking cold fire
harrowing, my aloneness
til' I slip introspective
say the sky is just sky
Say 'the bus this morning sounds like youth'
say the things out loud that count
'snow'
'dark'
'scared'
'impression'
Next we are home again
tide times and pensive
So what if it tastes like a shell
more and more?
By my flume of huge worries
refracting, 'go, jade light'
in the glass, this is only learning.
I am all about knowing why this feels both old and young
