Salt brings me up to joy

Like nothing else I've seen before

As if I were a little boy

And father was standing at the door

In the water I breathe I see

Wreckles of his new-lost daughter

Another of which I cannot be

Like bath tubs filled with open water

I am no longer filled with glee

Sparkle-lit room denied

As if I were alive again

From all of life I've been defied

Rest my simple soul here and then

Find a way to break from hell

Record my thoughts behind an open door

Is this fake or is this real?

Sadly I don't know anymore

Birds up in trees they laugh they play

While in angst I sit here watching them

I sit here praying as I start to wonder how they stay

Like a bear-cub in a lion's den

Fair-well hatched been born long ago

Ever since Spring denied

With troubled in my mind I weep and sow

Of to or which I do not know

Nor or which I will not go

To see or hear this wicked show

Even if these clear blue skies

I hear my love you see my pain

Where I forever hear laughter cry

Of to or which like the clouds my eyes will rain

Bath tubs filled with open water

Hear me cry

In a bath tub filled with open water

All but going down the drain

Where I can no longer rely

In bath tubs filled with open water
