I walked down the road,

Tears trickling down my cheeks,

My fists were clenched tight,

When I think about you.

I saw you walking with another,

My heart shatters into pieces.

And I walked away with flowers trailing behind me.

The flowers,

The fragrance reminds me of you,

But I left them to die behind me,

And as I let them fall and trail behind me,

My memories with you I too put it behind me.

Days, moths and years passed,

One day I saw you walking towards me,

With tears in your eyes you look at me,

With the eyes of forgiveness,

Begging for forgiveness,

You pleaded to me to come back to your life,

But Instead I walked away from you.

I walked away,

I walked away,

Leaving the pains behind,

All of the pains behind,

I walked away into the light,

Heading into a new life,

Where I can find another,

And I will find another,

I walked away,

I walked away heading to a new life
