This Morning

I awoke this morning and as I turned I saw your face

I was in awe watching you sleep, its all I could do

Knowing that someday this will end

I do everything I can to hold on to this moment

Not able to wait any longer

I lean over and gently kiss your cheak

With your eyes still closed your lips suddenly take the shape of a smile

Which is followed by a soft moan

In this moment I am in total unbelief

With the sight of happiness glowing from your face

And this uncontrolable feeling of love I feel

I want nothing more than to stay here forever...

If only that could be...
