Watching You Sleep

I walk into the room

You're already asleep

I quietly undress

and walk over to my side of the bed

But before slipping in next to you

I find myself just standing there

Amazed by the calmness that surrounds you

I suddenly feel a peace I've never felt before

A peace only God could give

With only the fait sound of soft music in the background

At last I lie next to you

With my heart filled with love

I lean over and gently kiss your cheak

You release a soft moan as you move your head towards me...

I say goodnight and thank God for your love.
