HE SINED AND I CAME INTO BEING

Adam said he was

And in his foolishness brought pain on us

To hate him is impossible

The seduction of the senses had taken his mind

Coming behind him to do for him what he couldn't do in forty years

Was the very reason I came into being

Trough these years

I was lost in his imaginary garden

Where the emptiness of the dreams is felt

A car, a wife and children I saw him dreaming about under the tree

Then came Gabriel

Look he said

He wants to be GOD

And I saw how darkness prevailed for generations

Then to God I bowed

Foolish men was I

The gospel was about the place of men in the scheme of things

Beside the trees he must be

With the river he must flow

With the birds he must sing the glory of his creator

With his siblings he must bring heaven on earth

What an amazing GOD that is

To have given us his son

Until we beat it to death

Only to see him rose in us with a new breath

To hell we walk

With courage and truth

Justice must be done

As we pack up our bags to go

The notes we have left behind for a new generation

We hope they will atone

For our desire to walk away from Eden
