He wasn't told the whole truth

A soldier holding on to his last breath

Honor was the motive

But not liberation

A kid in the eyes of his granny

A child born to keep the flame of love going

They miss him

Yes the boy with a moving voice

The cry on his mother face

Said it all loud

Here he was dying for what passes away

A flag?

What is that got to do with love?

In god they believed

Gold, oil, diamond

Makes G O D

Was I to keep quiet?

I had traversed the dark forest

But I found him laying in a pool of blood

My cherished child

My offspring

The light I dreamed of

And bringing to me half the man I birthed

How cruel was your war

If only I knew

You wouldn't take him
