Her beauty inspired electron pulses
Spinning out of control
On the verge of something wicked
Absolute
Obsession

She had the timeless face of the witch, the damsel, the whore. The middle eye painted in red hues and azures. She called it the mark of Parvatti…though rumors of Kali filled the infinite Void.

Arboreal embrace,
Blades of grass
DNA strands
She believes in the interconnection of systems.

Here she comes and finds me,
Under an alien moon
A place of bliss
Soft
Fuzzy
Union

Are you ready now, fellow traveler?

Beyond the One lie the ten thousand beings,
She rules them all with her orchids
And the promise that life eternal
Be the ambrosia that fills your cup.

You are so so so mentally stimulating. Kali....love it...

so from the gorilla's point of view? could it be?

they look to her as a goddess bringing them ageless immortality, but the goddess dies (how unusual) and leaves only an empty promise that slowly fills with destruction rather than euphoria.

woa...sometimes equitable to humans.
There is a Canadian poet named Vince Gotera, he has an amazing poem about Kali.

FTR...I love reading your writes.
Awesome. I'm sure once this settles in for the kill, I'll see even more.

Thanks Classy Peach. I'm happy this intrigued you. I do think that there is destruction, especially in the Kali Yuga. This age will come to an end, however, and interconnected systems will begin another cycle of creation and renewal...the growth in the blade of grass; the spirit of DNA...

Thanks for the tip on Gotera. Sounds mysterious.

Alas I know not about the Kali Yuga (should I internet browse?) Even so I loved this as a poem, read so well (you are a beautiful and talented writer)

Thank you for your wonderful comment, Anna Therese. The Kali Yuga is the age of Kali, which we're currently going through. It's not the most cheerful of ages, but a necessary one according to Hindu metaphysics.
