All I Can Be Is Me

Poetry By: always faithful

There is always someone out there who judges you or wants to change you without getting to know you first. this poem is about ignoring all of that for there is a better life waiting around the corner

Who else could I ever be

if in the mirror all I see is me?

People try to change me like I'm not tamed.

To most of them it's just a game.

But still I keep my head held high.

Even when I can't, I try.

Sometimes I want to cry, but I fight back the tears.

Sometimes I want to die, but I fight back the fear.

I try to fight but I know the time is near

when all this hatred and discrimination will dissapear.

And on that day I will start a new life.

And on that day it will be the time

where I can be

nothing more

but just me.
