Love you, Prince Black, bleak and deadly
Heart, hush beating, love you madly
Stories long I wrote and told
Passion’s songs cure ice and cold

Love you, Prince Black, blood-crowned fairy
Filth and frenzy drive me weary
Never want to sleep again
Bringing forth a new heaven

Love you, Prince Black, would you marry
One young maid who likes to carry
Scary burdens sweet and thick
Say no not, it makes me sick
