Anime Annie with her pigtail hair,
Wide blue eyes and a little nose,
Giant sword and legs so bare,
Wearing Sailor Moon clothes.

Her idol is Sailor Moon,
She watches her TV show,
Her brother Jerry is a goon,
And anime haters are her foes.

Anime Annie is a little girl,
She reads books and goes to school,
She wishes she didn’t live in the real world,
And had not such a busy schedule.

Such a sweet girl with her comic books,
Her smiling face and willingness to learn,
A cherub face an angelic looks,
And a mother to whom she can always turn.

Anime Annie in her dream world,
Is a little strange and little odd,
Not your average girl,
Annie doesn’t believe in God.

She believes in fairies and little elves,
In dragons and magic and nature,
In old wise books on their shelves,
And I believe with her.
