Babble, babble little brook,
Trickle, trickle little stream,
Play now little child,
By the babbling brooks bank.
Twirl, twirl, little falling leaves,
Sigh, sigh, oh mighty wind,
Listen to the world around you,
Little child, little friend.
Dance, dance, in the woods,
Sing, sing of spring anew,
Dream, dream, of fairy glens,
As you rest on mothers breast.
