Dragon Bane surveys the terrain,
Her long black hair blowing in the wind,
Dragon Bane feels no pain,
As ancient runes are tattooed on her skin.
Dragon Bane strides into battle,
Screaming her battle cry,
Herding the enemy like cattle,
She summons lightening from the sky.
Dragon Bane counts the slain,
Yet no burial is held for them,
Dragon Bane feels no shame,
No remorse, not anything.
Dragon Bane fights like a beast,
Striding through the battleground,
Wild fury untamed and unleashed,
She will not stop till victory is found.
Dragon Bane summons rain,
Cold rain that seeps through bones,
Dragon Bane has much to gain,
But so much to lose.
Dragon Bane fights memories,
Lost images for years suppressed,
Just as she fights living enemies,
She also fights her past.
Dragon Bane will win again,
Another fortress in her grasp,
Dragon Bane will maintain,
Her iron rule over the land.
Dragon Bane feels no joy,
As her enemies fall once more,
She feels not so sly and coy,
As her soldiers think of her.
Dragon Bane will abstain,
From celebrating victory,
Dragon Bane feels no pain,
Only emotions so contradictory.
