Don’t lie to me,
Don’t tell me the truth,
On second thought, don’t speak,
I don’t want to hear your excuse.
I don’t need an explanation,
I know it won’t be true,
So just pack your bags,
There’s the door.
You say you love me,
Boy, have you got nerve,
I caught you fooling around,
With a complete stranger.
At least I’m hoping you hadn’t met her before,
I’m barely holding myself together as it is,
How could you do this me,
After all that I thought we meant.
No, I’m not breaking up with you,
That has already happened,
We just didn’t realize it,
But now my eyes are opened.
I have to say that I’m relieved,
You were not good for me,
You turned me into a fool,
I’m glad to have found out the truth.
