Let the world laugh at my tears

Let the sun scorch my skin

Let the day eat away at my dreams

Let the envious steal my thoughts

Let the night rob me of my sleep

Let the blame fall like meteor showers

Let the sadness engulf me like a tsunami

Let the worries swallow me like a hurricane

Let the layers of dark truths weigh like mountains

Let the passersby walk through me like I'm a ghost

Let the ears be deaf to my screams

Let the colors fade out of my world

Let the blood trickle down my cheeks

Let my body crumble like ashes

But let there be a smile on my friend's face

For it's worth all that and then some...
