What a big secret for me.

I can keep it.

I am everybody's trustworthy friend.

Sometimes I feel I am the dumping ground-

a place for secrets people just can't keep.

I hear all the gossip.

I never tell anyone.

I'm the quiet girl in the corner, but I know all about you.

I know you like you are my best friend.

I know about your 13-year-old bipolar sister.

I know about your alcoholic dad

and stressed-out abusive mom.

I could ruin your life.

I know you're gay,

I know you do drugs

I could ruin your life,

but I don't.

I am everbody's trustworthy friend.
