Shannon, my one and only

As I sit here at work, summing up my life, and the broken hearts I've had, all the people I've had to say goodbye to, not just loved ones, but friends, and family. Then I look back and think of the thing that truly made me happy this year and that was meeting the girl of my dreams, my one and only, my world. It was fate that brought me to her, and she surprised me in ways I never thought she would. I never believed in finding that special person again after a horrible year of torture, which my heart suffered immensely, but she convinced me that love still exists in this crazy world, and she loved me for who I am, this amazing girl who was merely but a stranger to me months ago, until we meet online, she inspired me to be a better person, to show me love and show me that life sucks sometimes but look at all the positive things in life, you have to look forward to. She showed me love again, and that's something I will never forget.
