The sweet sound of rain

I often lie awake just listening to the rain, it's peaceful and calm, its presence is soothing as I hear the rain dripping down my window, racing to the bottom. As the rain hits the ground, I lie awake listening to the peaceful sound, and I hear drip, drip, drip.
