Once upon a time-I was your everything
I was once your friend, your lover
We experience love at first sight
Remembered the time you held me so tight.?
So tight, that it hurts
But we both knew, we wont meant to be
For I loved him, as much as he love me
So attach!! We didn’t want to let go
Holding on to every last hope
Wanting destiny to fuse our hearts
So letting was the hardest part
…..
We wanted to be together
Together again _ nothing more… just together forever
…..
From lovers to best friends
No-one seems to understand
But we were happy to be close once again
Close enough to feel each other warmth

In our hearts
We wanted to be more than friends
In our mind
We know we could only be friends
Too scared to go down that road one more time
Too scared of wrecking our dimes
So we held each other closer then before
Wanting to be together more & more
We were friends that held hands
As they play a song we would get up and dance
Where there was you, there were me
Where there was me, there were you
Our time would never end
We would stay up all night
Listening to each other voice and fight
Each fight end with a – sorry, I love you
We listen! Listen to each others dreams
As we try to shoot for the moon
This all could happen so soon
His dream is to be a superstar
What if one-day he may be without me, away far
I wish… I want… I believe he will be a superstar
Just hope when he is one, I would still be there by his side
But I know
I can’t be his one & only girl
For all I am is his best friend
When destiny pulls us apart, I can look back at the memories and say:
“Once upon a time… I was his everything”
But until then…
I am his everything
