The Unsinkable, Sunk

Poetry By: An Excuse To Speak Of You
Poetry

A poem about Irony and jynxing yourself by saying Its all going great or this may never end. Not a sad poem just a poem. I like the name based off of the titanic, as they said the ship was un sinkable, yet on its first departure, it sank...

With the words you say,

There is a price to pay.

Irony, you cant defeat,

After all, your words

Are yours to eat,

You'll say everythings Divine,

But that means,

Soon your, outta time.

The titanic,

The unsinkable ship,

Sank,

It shure went quick.

So when everythings fine,

Make shure you know,

It can all rewind,

The good may go...
