A weekend well spent.

A weekend away, a chance to feel so free,
away from all the noise, the smog, the chitter chatter,
the pitter pattter, the clouds of dreams, the painful reminder of anger.
A weekend away with foes, lovers and fellow dreamers.
Oh how I miss these blissful moments, the sun rises so elegantly on weekends away.
I long for more, I feel the earth beneath me,
I feel the crisp, young air, infiltrate me like my first kiss.
I look forward to the journeys, the nostalgia makes me weep.
A weekend away is all I need to feel whole again,
to be whole again is all I need.
A weekend away, discovering the indifferences,
the emotions, the sentiments and lost jokes,
the fun we have is unmeasurable in a beaker.
A weekend away to me is life, its essence and its prose,
I feel so warm this way.
I long for more, I feel its power,
with every hour, I look, I glance, I dread.
Its time to go, to leave in silence,
and look back, no more, its dreamt.
A weekend away, is a weekend away, well spent.
