Where the blue grass grow's
Mountains are high
Where you can see
Valley's below
The cotton so white
House's so tall
Apple and pear trees
To watch them grow
Strawberries and blackberries
To be picked
The horse's stand tall
At the rodeo
People come to join in
The fun
Singing and playing
All the night long
No stranger's in Kentucky
Where you go
There will always be a hello
Come back and see us
Car's run fast
While you race
Everyone clapping
Hoping you win
Cool air blowing
Tree's stand tall
Flower's blooming
In Kentucky
