Warning:

Sultry Woman, strutting through narrow streets;
Will cause all eyes to desirously contemplate prominent curves,
One look in the eye is liable to promote love-sickness.
Her venomous touch is nonpareil, and possibly deadly,
With one simple word, you will become intoxicated,
And the venom will instantly flow through your veins,
Like strands of silky ribbons.
The antidote that will heal your symptoms, which may include
Dizziness, high Fever, and in rare cases, Infatuation;
Is currently not found.
Do not inhale scent; pungent aroma entering lungs is inevitable,
And will only increase chances of severe sickness.
If you do however experience any of these symptoms,
Seek professional help and contact your nearest medical center.
Above all, do not think you can resist,
She is highly addictive and extremely,
Poisonous.

hi! angela. ur warning didn't let me proceed but i ignored it. i must say hell hath no fury like a poisonous sultry woman scorned! seems like a pharmacist's ditty.

by the way, what does nonpareil mean. lol. ;-)

lol. Nonpareil means 'having no equal.' I'm glad you enjoyed this, I certainly did when writing it. :) Thanks for commenting.

Wow! Well done Angela! This is definitely one of my favorite pieces of yours. I could tell that poison was an easy one, but you made this one so fabulous! Ha Ha poor Alice...I know she's angry, ha ha. I really really loved your word choice in here. I don't know what all of them mean, lol, but I can get the picture. I understand what you mean about how it's not exactly a poem, but it was. It was kind of like a poem/ one of those things you hear people speaking in the beginning of a song or something, you know? But just great work! I thought you did a great job. I really loved the last few sentences:

Above all, do not think you can resist,
She is highly addictive and extremely,
Poisonous.

Ha Ha for some reason this poem made me laugh really hard. To agree with WhoSpokeSilence, I thought it really explored the reality of what it's like to get hooked onto women like that, and that they're like poisoness and stuff. Really great again:DDDDDD

Thank you so much Zoe. :) I wouldn't have written this without your brilliant mind. Afterall, you WERE the one who gave me that idea/theme.

Another brain lapse!
You've impressed me in so many different ways.

Yeah... I can see why it reminds you of snow white. :) Thanks so much for reading :)

This is lust you have here angela.
Though I didn't find it funny, I lingered a while with the thought that there is a possible impact of lust and longing towards this woman.

Really sexy.

I love it. ^^

LOl^_^! Sounded like she's some wanted vampiress or evil mutant from X-Men. Good poem--- I liked the way you rhymed!

For some reasons it makes me think of a female version of Edward Cullen. xD

HAha. That is a very funny thought. I think I have to agree with that. LOl. I wonder why I didn't think about it before. Thanks so much for commenting. :)

King Solomon warned about women like that. Her steps lead downward into the depths of hell. Beware.

That is the power of a WOMAN...She creates, nurtures and when things r not right...detroys as well....

Lol. Exactly. The sad thing is that we do things from lust or greed when all things go wrong. Can't women be powerful and decent at the same time? lol. Thanks again :)
