They take pride in all they do
patting themselves upon the back
Conceited in their own self-esteem
guidence is what they truly lack

Indulging in their arrogant ways
like a race that never ends
they think they will never lose
yet no-one really wins
**********
Everthing they ever do
they must beat the rest
Failure makes them jealous
their bound to be the best
**********
Their unbreakable spirit
within their heart and mind
will be harsh and sadly broken
when they cross the finish line
**********
