"A SHELL OF A GIRL"

Where are the tears, my eyes are so dry.
My sad hollow heart, demands me to cry.
Through my shallow veins, pieces have scattered.
My love wasn't enough, I guess I never mattered.

Without you I'm dying, I cant seem to feel.
I stare into darkness, my heart has stood still.
Not one single beat, It's idle and dead.
Empty and cold, It is no longer fed.

The tears finally come, they stream down my face.
One by one they fall, on the floor they embrace.
A puddle is formed, a reflection I see.
A depressed lonely girl, a picture of me.

I wipe them away, and close my weary eyes.
Holding them in, as my hollow heart cries.
I sit here alone, not a friend in the world.
A result of rejection, just a shell of a girl.
