Crucifixion
He carried his cross
in pain he pressed on
still he didnt complain
as one helped him along
They cursed him spat on him
they yelled crucify
as they raised up his cross
they heard Mary cry
He hang in the middle
with one on each side
one bound for heaven
the other denied
He cried it is finished
his blood ran down his cheek
then he closed his eyes
and fell into sleep
They wrapped him in linen
in a tomb he was lay
his father sent angels
and they took him away
He visited Mary
and others he loved
yet to ascend
to his father above
He gave his life
to save us from sin
so well spend our lives
living for him
