DANCING IS SILENT POETRY

When the curtain rises

rhyme shall not be heard

For dancing is silent poetry

she mustn't speak a word

~*~

Like a floating butterfly

whose guided by the winds

Effortlessly she dances

as she gracefully desends

~*~

A song without a single note

steps are placed in stead

Embracing every stanza

my heart interprets what she said

~*~

And when the curtain closes

I stand I clap and smile

I'll cry when it is over

as this poet takes her bow

~*~
