Harvest Moon

I find myself mesmerized

by the Harvest Moon,

against a bold horizen

I knew beauty was coming soon.

I take a long and refreshing breath

as I watch the landscape change,

mystically the scene slowly shifts

and the world is rearranged.

The Harvest moon so golden

lighting up awaiting night,

a veil of stars to follow

bringing forth a worthy site.

Catus stands in silhouette

cooling off a scorching day,

drinking in this evening pleasure

before it slips away.
