Inside Myself

I've faded into a memory

of the girl I used to be,

my heart echo's that I'm still breathing

but there's nothing left of me.

I've become invisable

buried way down deep inside,

curled up in my empty shell

swallowed up by foolish pride.

The streets are my haven

my final resting place,

society can-not find me

for I am every face.

I was someones daughter

a lover and a friend,

but because they refused to see me

I'll dsappear inside myself again.
