JUST A HEARTBEAT AWAY
The path ahead seems rocky
and the mountains way too high
Every mile seems endless
but I know that I must try
~~~~~~~~
I threw our love away back then
I was much too young to know
That your love was very real
I just needed time to grow
~~~~~~~~
My heart now guides my every step
and tells me what to say
Knowing I may find you once again
may be just a heart beat away
