LAZY BOY ( SLOTH )

(Submission to Poem-A-Thon)

What makes a man so lazy

has he lost his sense of joy

what will it take to move him

from his worn out lazy boy

~~~~~
The lawn needs a mowing
the hedges need a trim
As usual I'll have to do it
I cant depend on him
~~~~~

He yells from his recliner

honey bring me a beer

But when I take it to him

his eyes lit up with fear

~~~~
I've had it with your laziness
I cant live like this no more
A lazy boy in a Lazy Boy
I told him walking out the door
~~~~~
