MY HEART DONT UNDERSTAND

As I stand here at my window
drawing hearts upon the pane
My tears continue falling
like summers quenching rain
When you told my heart goodbye
I dont think It understood
That when you left that dreary day
you would be gone for good
Now It feels so very empty
Its colours changed to blue
All thats left are broken pieces
because It misses you
My heart has finally realized
that time will heal the pain
It will keep on beating
and someone elses love to gain
