STORMY SKIES ( A Widow Cries )
She lay against a drift wood,
underneath the stormy skies.
Beside the murky,
waters edge,
she bows her head and cries.
~~~
Waiting for absolution,
but it will never be.
Her broken heart is dying,
as her tears fall to the sea.
~~~
Larrisa was this maidens name,
a Russian soilders wife.
Without him she felt nothing,
she was led to end her life.
~~~
Dressed in a widows,
black satin gown,
she closed her weary eyes.
Mournings taken its last breath,
as her soul meets the stormy skies.
~~~
