TEAR STAINED VALENTINE CARD

I read this card of long ago

before you passed away

I add another moarnful tear

upon its worn and ragged page

Every year I sit here holding it

and read your thoughts inside

expressing how much you loved me

and would til the day you died

~

I`ve been holding on to this memory

Though its worn through all the years

I`ll keep it safe within my heart

and keep adding all my tears
