They told me after college

you ran off to Vegas

Well I hope your doin well

do you ever think about us

Hey is that you baby

boy lifes been good to you

Nothing much here has changed

yea its good to see you too

I listen to our song

playing on the radio

Now that aint the girl I knew

so why did you have to go

You say what am I doin

life aint what it used to be

I'm still punching the old time clock

thats enough bout me

I head off for my home

and I check the phone

Just in case I go to bed

like always all alone

I'm lying here wishin on wishes

listen to our song Norma Jean

I dream of you and me dancing together

but what does it all mean

I wake up to teardrops

that fall down like rain

I put on our old song

we danced to back then

I punch the clock

I go to work

I dry my tears

thats what I'm doin these days
